  • 艺术学博士, 演员, 导演, 戏剧讲师。
  • 马来西亚艺术学院戏剧系第一届毕业生。
  • 1994年赴日本深造, 曾担任儿童与中学戏剧的指导。在日本期间, 经常受邀筹划与参与从老至幼不同年龄层次国籍人士的戏剧创作与演出工作。
  • 2006年3月荣获日本大学艺术学研究所的博士学位, 是马来西亚中文剧场界首位取得博士学位的戏剧工作者.

主要受邀出席的国际戏剧节如下:

  • The Mexico Street Theatre Festival (Mexico City/1999)
  • The Japan Street Theatre Festival (Tokyo/2001)

  • 2004年第二届台湾国际读剧节(Taiwan/2004)
  • 2007年代表马来西亚赴香港出席第6届国际戏剧/剧场与教育联盟的世界会议发表其博士论文并受邀参与该艺术节的演出.

目前是日本导演协会戏剧国际交流组”Physical Theatre Festival in Store House”的筹委会委员; 马来西亚新纪元学院戏剧与影像系;国立艺术学院(ASWARA)大学部门的兼职讲师。主要以形体/肢体剧场及应用剧场作为推动与发展戏剧艺术及教育的工作方向。

秉着“多元文化共存; 跨越界线”的理念,从事艺术的创作与研究。

Dr. Wong Oi Min

  • PhD in Arts, actor, director, drama/theatre educator.
  • 1st batch graduate of Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA) Drama Department
  • She was a teacher of both children’s theatre and high school drama
  • She moved her base to Japan from 1994 to 2006
  • The presentation of a doctorate in arts to her in March 2006, at the Nihon University, Graduate School of Art, made her the first theatre actor who obtained a doctorate in the community of Malaysian Chinese Theatre.
  • During her stay in Japan, she was invited to organize and participate in theatre works related to different ages and nationalities.

She is an executive committee member of the “Physical Theatre Festival in Store House” and the “International theatre Exchange Program” of the
Japan Directors’ Association.

Currently, a part-time lecturer of New Era College, Drama & Visual Department; a part-time degree lecturer of National Arts Culture and Heritage Academy (ASWARA).Mainly takes Physical Theatre & Applied Theatre as her orientation in promoting and developing theatre arts & education

She upholds her beliefs in “multicultural coexistence and boundary-crossing” in her work.
